These days it seems as if Jimmy buffet has his hands in everything, from beers to restaurants, and now stadiums, so it would not surprise me if he had a hand in designing Golden Casinos latest slot, Parrot Party.
Buffet is a fan of the parrot and the slot immediately looks as if it popped right out of one of his songs. Honestly, I was surprised one of his songs wasn’t playing the background. Rum drunk parrots, guitars, and A-9 symbols roll through the reels.
The wild symbol, a Tree Hut, only appears on reels 2 and 4 substituting for all symbols except the Music Note scatter symbol. The Tree Hut also plays the part of the bonus symbol. When a hut or huts appear on both reels 2 and 4 at the same time, the bonus is triggered. Behind each of the triggering huts are bonus multipliers. These multipliers are added to any wins during the spin.
The bonus seemed like it would be pretty lame, but it is quite rewarding. I feel like this slot had so much more potential and that is was a wasted opportunity for a really great slot. Maybe soon Golden Casino will look back and try to revamp it to its rightful design. Until then, enjoy!
